Arizona Industry Fellows

Our Arizona Industry Fellows program is a non-partisan project designed to help young professionals age 40 and under better understand the intersection of business and public policy, and its impact on the Arizona economy. This fellowship uniquely highlights Arizona’s job creators and how public policy impacts them, and builds a network of ambitious, informed young people. We focus on reaching the Millennial Generation because it is the largest generation in U.S. history. Millennials will be half of the U.S. workforce within five years and 75 percent within a decade. Fellows meet monthly beginning in October for nine, full-day sessions focused on Arizona’s major industries and policy topics.

Millennials are on the cusp of surpassing Baby Boomers as the nation’s largest living adult generation as their numbers will swell to 73 million by 2019. At the same time, more than one-in-three American labor force participants (35%) are Millennials, making them the largest generation in the U.S. labor force.
